Your Access Has Not Been Denied

Has anyone ever told you your access to God has been denied?  Has anyone ever said to you, how dare you stand before God with your demands and requests?  This might leave you wondering…
If you’re living a life of sin, does God hear you?
If you quit the job that He made possible for you to have, will He give you another?
If you walked out on your family, will He ever listen to you again?
If you squander all your resources-His blessings, is that the end of His goodness for you?

It’s been often told that God doesn’t listen to everyone; there are teachings out there like this. I would hate to believe people feel cut off from their God, their father.

The scripture says “let us come boldly” to God’s throne.  “Let us,” that’s you, me, the pope, your pastor and anyone else for that matter.

week18So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most. (Hebrews 4:16 NLT)

Ordinary teaching would have you believe that you can’t go to God boldly for yourself.
If you are unable to come before Him boldly or with confidence,  there are two negative side-effects your life will encounter: (1) you lack His mercy and (2) you lack the grace needed to help you when you need help the most.

God is showing His mercy on you.  He is leaving His grace out there for you to bump into.
How can your ordinary marriage, children, or family change if you had His help?
How can your normal career, business or job improve with His help?
What if He was to give you an extra dose of mercy and grace for your home? Your personal life? Your impact in your community?  Your country? Your contribution to the world? Your church or religious organization?

Because you’re reading this and following “No-longer-common”, you’re entitled to the direct opposite.  In spite of what others may say or think, we can approach God for ourselves… and boldly; you should and have every right to.  As a result, the world around us will then look at us and wonder how-in the world-our situation is working out better than theirs.

I declare that He has made you uncommon and your life is now filled with not only His mercy, but His grace. Just ask Him for yourself.
