Part 2 – The Feeling of Uncertainty

“He went on board the boat to escape the flood—he and his wife and his sons and their wives.” – bible.com/116/gen.7.7.nlt

Noah, with his immediate family, escaped the flood by boarding the boat. Think about it. He escaped. The rain fell and when it got to a level that was too dangerous for them to remain where they were, they escaped from it to save their lives. Are you at the point where you have no alternative but to escape for your life?

[Pray This]
Lord,
Thank You for a time to escape this disaster, we call it “quarantine.” We see it as our time to escape the flood, so to speak. While we might not understand what’s happening, we understand that You’ve provided a way of escape. A way to save our lives.

“No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.” – bible.com/bible/114/1CO.10.13.NKJV

This word temptation means the desire to do what is wrong or unwise. In this case, Noah not escaping to the boat would have been unwise. If he had not escaped his family would have become victims of the disaster. You not removing yourself from harm’s way would be unwise. It would be like putting your family in the way of disaster.

[Pray This]
(You’ll like this one, so pray it with energy)
Father,
What we face is no different than what any other normal person is facing, but we have something the ordinary person does not. Lord, You know what that is? We have You, who are faithful and will not let us down even when everyone else is falling at our side. While others might be perishing, You have provided for us a way of escape. It was an ark for Noah. It’s a home for me, but no matter what it is, we’re escaping the storm, the disaster, the plague, the pandemic in Jesus’s name.
