“Part 1 – This Unprecedented Event”

Noah was quite old when the flood covered the earth. Can you imagine being up in age with what Noah experienced? Having lived an entire lifetime, then in one moment everything you’d ever known changed, never to return to the way it had been… ever again. Can you imagine the uncertainty Noah was feeling? Rain, a new phenomenon at the time, fell from the sky. Water began falling from the sky for the very first time. Put yourself in Noah’s shoes. You thought you were prepared for anything, then it hit. An event that had never occurred. An endless rainstorm. You have no idea of what it means or if it was deadly or refreshing. Sound familiar to what you might be feeling or even going through?

“When Noah was 600 years old, on the seventeenth day of the second month, all the underground waters erupted from the earth, and the rain fell in mighty torrents from the sky. The rain continued to fall for forty days and forty nights.” – bible.com/116/gen.7.11-12.nlt

For a time period longer than Noah could have ever expected rain and water came from every place their eyes could behold.

[Pray This]
Lord, what’s happening? What we’re experiencing has never happened before. Is this a cleansing or is it destructive? We’ve been hearing voices from both sides and it’s leaving many in a state of fear. What is happening and when will it end?
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
