When My Haters Show Up

Why are these people at me? The more I try to accomplish my goals and dreams, it seems like the more resistance I get. My friends are turning on me. My coworkers are looking at me strangely. My family has turned their backs on me. I can’t understand why. Why is what I’m doing bothering them so badly? Isn’t it enough that what I’m trying to accomplish is an uphill fight?

Lord, I’m making progress and the haters have descended upon me. What gives? Help me to see the truth behind this. That my haters are nothing more than an indication that I’m making progress towards my thirty-thousand-foot prayer, in Jesus’ name.

I will not get caught up or distracted by what my haters, the opposition, is throwing at me. In fact, I will buckle down and get more aggressive in completing my goal, my thirty-thousand-foot prayer.
