“Part 5 – Time to Ask God to Remember Us”
“But God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and livestock with him in the boat. He sent a wind to blow across the earth, and the floodwaters began to recede. The underground waters stopped flowing, and the torrential rains from the sky were stopped. So the floodwaters gradually receded from the earth. After 150 days…” – bible.com/116/gen.8.1-3.nlt
After God sent a wind across the earth, it took 150 days for the floodwaters to recede. 150 days… In other words, what came upon Noah (us) came quickly, but could take a while to recede. Therefore, it’s a target for our prayers.
Father, while this is not encouraging when I think about how long Noah was in quarantine; yet the Bible says the water stopped. The plague stopped. The pandemic stops. We thank you that it has stopped. Now we prepare for the recession. Let this disaster recede from the earth in Jesus’ name.
