I Need the Right Close Friends

Who we have in our inner circle can produce one of two results in our life. They can A) create the biggest problem or make a mess of the biggest problems we’ll ever face or B) they’re the best answer we have when we face life’s biggest and greatest challenges.

Prayer Condition:
Since the link I have listed at the bottom directs you to a lesson on defining relationship level four, your inner circle, we will make this prayer come from the place of defining or redefining your closest friends.

The Prayer:
You may already know what it feels like not to have a group of friends with whom you allow behind the closed doors of your life;  or share the inner thoughts of who you’re becoming or share your deepest pains. People who bring this kind of support and value are themselves invaluable for us to have a successful life and successful relationships. With that said…

[Pray This]
Lord,
I’m looking for the people I need in my inner circle. I don’t want just any one in the position anymore. Help me find or send me those who can handle what they see behind the closed doors, those who can bring support as I become the person I need to become and those who know how to comfort me when I face my deepest tragedies. Help me with the friends I call my inner circle in Jesus’ name.

Your Action:
(What action based on your prayer can you take?)
With every prayer, we need an action. I’ll give you one here, but make sure you follow any action God’s prompting you to do. Take the first step of making a list of the people you call friends and ask yourself does this person qualify with the three questions used to determine your inner circle [click the link below].

Prayer Disclaimer Notice: prayer is not a miracle, it’s our conversation with God which gives us insight on how to respond to our situations and the world around us. For more detail, please review our prayer disclaimer notice in its entirety, available at nolongercommon.com/nlc-prayer-disclaimer.
