Loss of Excitement for Your Significant Other

You may not realize this, but relationships have what’s called a life cycle. When you’re not aware of the cycles, you can’t foresee the normal issues that can arise as a result of not knowing. However, just because there are stages in the life cycle doesn’t mean it is a bad thing. In fact, it’s only bad when you handle them like normal people do. This is what leads to a loss of excitement for your significant other.

“Seize life! Oh yes—God takes pleasure in your pleasure! Relish life with the spouse you love Each and every day of your precarious life. Each day is God’s gift. Make the most of each one! Whatever turns up, grab it and do it.”
-bible.com/bible/97/ECC.9.7-9.MSG

It’s implied that you must seize life. It’s not going to happen on its own. You must take pleasure, pleasure’s not something that’s going to happen on its own. You might be looking for someone else to do it for you which is normal, but that’s not how it works. You must relish life with your spouse, because not doing so happens without any effort which makes it normal. Lastly, you must make the most out of each day that you get. When you do, there won’t be a loss of excitement because you bring the excitement.

[Pray This]

Lord, I see everyday as Your gift to me. I make the most of each day with my spouse. Help me discover ways in how to seize life and enjoy this gift of today, in Jesus’ name.

Your Action (What action based on your prayer can you take?):
I take ownership in seizing the day. It’s my job to make the most of today, this gift from God. I make plans to ensure I make the most of my day.
