Choosing the Right Church

No Longer Common in Scripture

“Jesus said to the people who believed in Him [the no-longer-common], ‘You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free’.” – Apostle John

No Longer Common Today

It’s another year, and it’s the perfect time to plan a new journey following the path that the Lord has prepared for you. Have you decided which church you want to attend to do this?

How do you choose your church?

Do you go to church just because your friends are there? Or did you base your church on how popular it is?

If there is one thing that should help you decide, it should be the fact that it leads you right where your heart will be at peace the most. It gives you the freedom that only the Lord will give you.

worship2Your church should:

  • Teach you that God’s news is good news and not bad news.
  • Remind you that His Word will build you up and not tear you down.
  • Allow you to discover how His Word promises an inheritance for those who are faithful.
  • Prove to you how His Word gives you good things.

When you choose a church, the ministers should help you build your faith and make that desire to have a relationship with God even stronger. The church should not only teach you how to be a good Christian; it should also instill and help develop your passion to worship the Lord at all times.

Take the chance to start the year right. Renew your faith and put the Lord on top of your list of resolutions for the year. This will direct you to the right path and give you a clearer view of what surprises the Lord has in store for you for this year and for the years to come.
