2 Corinthians 1:3-4 How can You Find Comfort in Life?

How can You Find Comfort in Life?

Any comfort you ever experience in life comes from God. He is the source from which comfort is poured. The primary point that it makes is any comfort we will or ever have experienced came and comes from Him, not people. The Bible doesn’t state that you must be a Christian or read your Bible or give any prerequisites to be a recipient of His comfort.

The only time people come into play is when they’ve been comforted; He, God, wants us to spread this comfort, we’ve experienced with others.

All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we [the no-longer-common] can comfort others [the common]. When they [the common] are troubled, we [the no-longer-common] will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. (2 Corinthians 1:3-4 NLT)

If you find yourself or another person bringing dis-comfort, it only means you’re not connected to God [which is common and normal]. Keep in mind, when you’ve logged into God, you’re plugged into the Source of comfort. In spreading His comfort, we make ourselves no-longer-common.
