Success Seeks Out the “No-Longer-Common”

I want to talk to you about how success seeks out the “no-longer-common” while failure and disappoint find its way to the “common”.  I have a passion for believers, especially those experiencing a less than abundant lifestyle.  A believer, the no-longer-common, has an advantage and I want to make sure you know it.

Here’s a scripture that should make any business owner or new entrepreneur grow stronger in their faith.

“Your eyes will shine, and your heart will thrill with joy, for merchants from around the world will come to you. They will bring you the wealth of many lands.” (Isaiah 60:5 NLT)

“Common” is the person who has no expectation of great things happening in their life, home, their business and more.

Having your heart filled with expectations of a better future is an assurance that the “no-longer-common” possess.

pablo (1)I recently had the opportunity to tell the story of the talents found in The Bible.  In this story, it speaks of the person who had 5 talents and successfully doubled them.  Then it spoke of the person with 2 talents and he also was successful at doubling his. Finally, it mentioned the person with the single talent that did absolutely nothing with his and the result for this person was quite unfavorable.  In fact, his life became worse than what it was prior to receiving the talents altogether.

Why I am I telling you this?  The gifts, skills, trades, and crafts God has given you are these talents.  Fortunately for you, God doesn’t limit business to those who have businesses.  He considers–as I often say–your life is your business.  Normal people are like that person who did nothing with their talents. Their life continues to decline and their situation becomes darker.

When you connect with your purpose of why you exist, as this scripture says, “your eyes will shine, and your heart will thrill with joy.”  You will be ecstatic.  You’ll treasure your talents, your gifts, your life which is your business.

Consider the opposite-that which is more common, you doing whatever life dishes out to you.
You might be in a career you didn’t or wouldn’t chose for yourself.
You might have settled in a relationship.
Maybe your life didn’t turn out exactly the way you dreamed it should.

Put this behind you  and connect with your “why”.  This will yield results that you can’t get no matter how hard you try, the “common” way.  What I am offering you is an uncommon life, that only you can unlock.  You can have a life filled with unrealistic favor, resulting in others bringing you the wealth of the land.  This can happen simply by you being you, developing you–your life is your business.

In closing, I prayed this prayer with you in mind.
[iPray] Lord, allow their eyes to shine.  Allow them to regain the excitement they once had as it relates to “their business” ideas.  Allow their hearts to become filled with joy because “their business” is growing.   Today we live in a global economy and I believe that people all over the world will take interest in their products, gifts, and talents.  In Jesus’ name.
