Missing the Best Opportunities to Do Good

This prayer is for the person who thinks they’ve done good with their giving this Christmas but really have not if they’ve missed the opportunities God’s given them to do good. In a series I put together called “The Seven Level of Relationships”; it describes the seven people groups that make up your world. When you’ve not given in these groups, you’ve missed the people God intended for you to give. 

“In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.”‭‭

This is what Jesus said, let your good deeds shine for all to see. The question you should ask is who are your “all”? Have you done good to your all? Who did you miss in the all group this Christmas that could have benefited from your light, your life?

My Lord, if You would please show me Your kindness by helping me identify those to whom I need to show good deeds. I don’t want to be guilty of not being a light to those in my world just because I overlooked them for someone else, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Your Action (What action based on your prayer can you take?):
I enjoy thinking of a step I can take. What it says is, while I wait for God I’m continuing to make strides and He gets to alter my course. With this particular prayer, what I’m going to do is make a list of each of the relationship level people groups and identify by name people I can target with my good deeds.
