Because No One Ever Told You

There’s nothing worse than being a victim to life just because no one ever told you, you don’t have to be. You think that life just happens and brings you whatever it deems. Not true. In fact what life has brought you is exactly what you’ve deemed. Where are your plans?

We can make our plans,
but the Lord determines our steps.

Just because God has determined your course doesn’t mean you don’t get to plan or be a party to determining where you’re headed in life. In fact, He instructs to be wise (uncommon) and make plans. So in order to have the life you desire, you first need to be okay with the path He has you own. That’s not something you can change. However, when you align your plans with His, where He has you stepping, you win and you have His support in doing it.

Lord, I know you have my steps, my course already mapped our. Help me to align my plans to coincide with those steps in Jesus’ name.

I look for the steps God has mapped out for me and I make my plans in alignment with that direction.
