When I’m Not Thinking Straight

There comes a time in our lives, where trouble arises and consumes our thoughts. When it happens people around will say you’re not thinking straight. You must be leery of such notions because it’s possible for that person to have their best interests in mind and not yours. So what do you do?

A time to love and a time to hate. A time for war and a time for peace.-bible.com/bible/116/ECC.3.8.NLT

The wisest person to ever live says there’s a time for war and a time for peace. I know you’re wondering what does that have to do with this situation. When trouble strikes, you have to know that you’re no longer in peace times and must be prepared for war times. In such a scenario, you must identify the friendly, your allies and most importantly your enemies. It’s your allies that you need first in order to subdue your enemies.

So that you know that you’ve not lost your mind, you need your closest allies, friends to have your back. Therefore the number one action is to make your way to your allies.

[Pray This]

Lord, since I can’t be certain of what’s happening around me and don’t know if I’m making the best decisions in these uncertain times. Help me reach my allies, my close friends so that I’m in the presence of someone who has my best interest at heart, in Jesus’ name.

Your Action (What action based on your prayer can you take?):
Here’s what one can do when self-doubt kicks in, in troubled times:
1) Find someone who can walk with you.
2) Get in the presence of those who can save you from you.
3) Ask for your friend’s help even when you feel you don’t need help.
