An All Out Attack

So, you’ve found yourself in an all out attack, an assault that’s threatening your progress.
Maybe there is opposition that’s blocking your quest for home ownership.
Maybe the doctors are reporting you’ll never have your own family.
Maybe the setback has come in the form of a job loss.
Maybe you’ve been hurt by your church and have lost faith.
Maybe the challenge comes from those closest to you being the least supportive of your efforts.
Regardless of where the attacking is coming from, you’re under attack. So what can you do? What can you pray for?

“Don’t be afraid of the enemy [your opposition]! Remember the Lord, who is great and glorious, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes!”
– bible.com/bible/116/NEH.4.14.NLT

You see being afraid of the what if’s that can occur is a common reaction. That’s why we must not be afraid. That’s first. Next because we are people of faith, we must remember who is Lord; therefore we have what we need to fight. We don’t get to be a bystander, we get to join in the fight because there’s no way we can lose.

[Pray This] Lord, I wanted to be afraid. I wanted to tuck my tail and run, but then I realized that’s what normal people do and I know what results normal people get. Instead, I’m going to find the courage to fight knowing that You are great and have me on this course of action in Jesus’ name.

Your Action
(What action based on your prayer can you take?)

Here’s a thought. What if you wrote down how you’re being attacked? Write down what the opposition is and what the opposition looks like. Next identify the possible ways you can combat it.
