Worried About Finishing

I’ve begun so many things that go incomplete. This time I want it to be different. Have you ever started something you really wanted to finish, but it seemed like you can never bring it to the finish-line?  Day after day, you think about it yet, it’s still not done.

“Finishing is better than starting. Patience is better than pride.”

King Solomon offers this thought about completing. He says ” finishing is better than starting.” In other words, make it your mission to be committed to finishing in the same way you were with starting. The common person has a tendency to start and not finish. While an uncommon person doesn’t only start, but finishes. The difference between finishing and quitting is in this question. Which person are you, common or uncommon?

[Pray This]

Father in Heaven, a choice is before me whether I finish what I started or not. It boils down to me making a decision to be uncommon (the finisher) or the common (the quitter). I choose to be the finisher, in Jesus’ name.

Your Action:
(What action based on your prayer can you take?)
I put not finishing out of my mind. My thoughts and actions are all on completing the project, no matter what.
