Putting My Desires in Check for My Family

You know people can be our biggest blessing, but create our biggest challenges. Today, the dynamics that make up an average family are complicated at best and diverse in its struggles. So how can we turn an average family into one that rises above normal expectations? 

What is causing the quarrels and fights among you? Don’t they come from the evil desires at war within you?

I used this verse to identify the root cause of the problems that arise within families. According to this writer, the cause for our rifts and division begins from normal desires that are clashing within us. Therefore, the answer is to find out how not to allow our own normal desires to become our primary desires, but rather exchange normal desires for uncommon ones.

[Pray This]Lord, help me identify the natural, normal, average desires that befall us and exchange them for the type of desires that inspire an uncommon outcome in my family, in Jesus’ name.

I can ensure that I am aware of any desires that are out of sync with the family I want  to have.
