How Can I Live A Life of Meaning?

I think I’ve found a way to live a life with more meaning. I’ve often wondered what it takes to have a fulfilling life. What would it take to wake up each day with excitement and it hit me when I found this quote.

A good life gets passed on to the grandchildren.-

It’s not all about what it says, but what it implies that makes this so powerful. Let me expound. The purpose of having “a good life” is passing it on not just to anyone, but to the grandchildren. This means we have to lead such an impacting life that it impacts two generations. Impacting one generation doesn’t leave room for errors and abundance. So I must ask myself, what must I do in order to have a life worth passing on to the grandchildren. That’s the prayer we need to pray to answer the question on how to live a life with more meaning? If we know how to impact our children and then their children what we’ve done is passed on a good life, one with meaning.

Lord, it’s normal behavior to focus our attention on ourselves which produces lives that are meaningless. However, I see that a meaningful life can be obtained when we work on passing a good life on to the grandchildren. Help me live my life in such a way that the grandchildren will benefit from what my life has to offer in Jesus’ name.
