When I’ve Endured the Opposition

Why did my opposition show up in the first place? Have you been asking yourself this questions? Have you been wondering why your way has become so difficult? Are you on the verge of quitting? That’s normal. Normal doesn’t lead to the success you’re after.

They realized this work had been done with the help of our God.

Nehemiah explains that his opposition realized something unusual. Because Nehemiah kept moving, kept pressing and kept working, his opposition came to the realization that God was helping him. There is no other explanation. Your opposition has tried to hold you back, but you’ve kept pushing. They tried to stop your efforts, but you started back up. They tried to discredit your ability and yet you persevered. What that says is…God is helping you. Isn’t worth the effort, the attacks and progress to make such a statement to your opposition? What you’ve done is so incredible that the forces that were against you have to declare that you’ve been given some supernatural help?

[Pray This]
Lord, thank You for making my endurance a statement of my opposers that You’ve been with me all along. Thank you for reminding me that the goal, the dream, this prayer that’s been in my heart was not just something I came up with, but rather something You planted. I believe that You are helping me and I want to say thanks for Your help, in Jesus’ name.

Your Action (What action based on your prayer can you take?):
Here’s what we can do. One, remind the opposition that their best attempts aren’t enough to stop what you started. Two, approach every prayer you’ve prayed as if God has given you a favorable response. And three, don’t leave prayer until you know what your next step is.
