Luke 12:29-31 What Can I Learn from an Unbeliever?

What kind of believer worries about what they’re going to eat or what they should wear (common things)? An unbeliever. Don’t allow unbelievers to teach you how to be a believer.

And don’t be concerned about [ordinary things] what to eat and what to drink.

Don’t worry about such things. These [common] things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers [the common] all over the world, but your Father already knows your needs.

Seek [the things that ordinary people don’t, the priority of who is greater] the Kingdom of God above all else, and He [the one who is greater] will give you [the no-longer-common] everything you need. (Luke 12:29-31 NLC)

Many people (common) who call themselves believers, really are not because you can’t become a follower of Christ being led by someone who’s never met Christ -an unbeliever.

An unbeliever can only teach you one thing and that’s how to be an unbeliever -a person who worries about the wrong things.
