iPray: whenever I am done wrong, I retaliate with good not evil.

Common: As individuals, anytime we have been wronged i.e. cutoff on the highway, lied on, bumped, mistreated, abused etc., our first response is to get back, get even, defend, or even retaliate.

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. (Romans 12:21 NIV)

NoLongerCommon: The appropriate response is to overcome the offense with good. Our fight against evil doings is not to be evil in return, but to be good in return.

Father, the easiest, most natural response, I can have, when someone does me wrong is to retaliate in kind. Because I am working to be no-longer-common, with your help, I still choose to retaliate, but with good.
