Acts 23:5 There is Greatness in Your Presence

(Acts 23:5 NLT) “I’m sorry, brothers. I didn’t realize he was the high priest,” Paul replied, “for the Scriptures say, ‘You must not speak evil of any of your rulers.'”

Unfortunately, it’s common to speak negative of others. Speaking negatively or evil of another shows our own ignorance because we haven’t taken the time to see the value that the person we are speaking of possesses. Be careful of what you are saying about others; it may just turn out the person you are talking about is greatness.
