What You Should Know When Leaving One Job for the Next

Choose your office acquaintances well. Check out the pulse of all your peers and management team prior to making up your mind as to which group you should become comfortable with.

Don’t become overwhelmed from the start. Pace yourself on this new endeavor. The way you start is an indicator on how you will finish.

Make sure you are following your passion. Do what you love so that work will seem like play. Learn to enjoy what you do so that you can maintain the excitement of the job.

Don’t be hindered by past experiences. Be open to new opportunities that await you. What was acceptable in your last job may not be acceptable in the new one and vice versa. Be careful not to expect the same environment you left.

Be wise and not naive. People may take advantage of your lack of experience in the areas you are weak.

Speak last in most cases. When a person speaks it reveals how wise they are, the one who is quiet is an unknown threat. Start by being the quiet threat and examine your playing field.
