Why are other’s prayers answered and mine are not?
You ever wonder why some people seem to have God answer all their prayers while yours go unanswered. What do they have that you don’t? What are they doing that you’re not?
Prayer Condition:
There is a condition in the mind that blocks many of the prayers we pray. In fact, it’s in what we believe. Most (51% or more) lose the battle of prayer before they even get started. First off, they don’t believe that what they ask will be granted and secondly they don’t believe that oftentimes they take the wrong first steps; or never take any steps at all.
The Prayer:
“Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you.” – bible.com/bible/100/MRK.11.24.NASB
There’s a key to prayer in this verse that doesn’t get noticed. That key is this. If you believe that your request will be granted, you’ll act like it. You won’t act as if it’s not granted, so you’ll begin to take actions as if your request has a favorable response.
[Pray This] Lord, whatever it takes I begin to work on what I believe. It’s the key to my answer. Help me learn how to pray, ask and believe that what I’ve asked for will be granted, in Jesus’ name.
Your Action:
(What action based on your prayer can you take?)
I will work on two things that can help me see my prayer answered:
- Maneuver through prayer like it’s a set of stepping stones. I pray, take a step, pray, take a step.
- Prayer for those who are working with me or involved in my prayer being answered. God sent me some help, so I learn to pray I see those who’ve been sent to help me.
