I Believe God Hates Me Now That I’m Divorced
Only a person who doesn’t have a real good relationship with God would think this way. God is too good to allow the war in a family, we call divorce, to come between His love for you. It’s impossible for Him to lose His love for you. However, what He hates is divorce itself and Frankly so do I. This war destroys and God hates to see you or any of His children destroyed.
“For I hate divorce!” says the LORD, the God of Israel. “To divorce your wife is to overwhelm her with cruelty,” says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies. “So guard your heart; do not be unfaithful to your wife.”

The scripture says that a divorce overwhelms a person with cruelty. That explains why God hates it. You’d hate it too if someone you loved was overwhelmed with cruelty. Hate divorce? Yes. Hate you? No.
[Pray This]
Lord, I see You have a hate for divorce and because You hate divorce so do I. Therefore, I guard my heart against what causes this war to occur in a family, in Jesus’ name.
Your Action (What action based on your prayer can you take?):
I take a look at how each area of my life can be impacted from the war a family finds themselves in so that I can guard my heart against this war from ever occurring or ever occurring again.
