The Difference Between The “Haves” And “Have-nots”

This Gift I Have The World Didn’t Give It To Me – Part 2

What category would you place yourself: the “haves” or the “have-nots”?

Most people (51% or more) believe they fall into the “have-nots” category.  That’s the “normal” landing zone for regular people. But why? What are they missing that the “haves”, have?

That type of thinking leads to the idea that there’s nothing special about a normal person.  They’re just living to get by. Living to get through. Living to get over. I’m tired of regular people, especially God’s people, thinking that they’re missing something when they have everything the “haves” have.

What do the “have-nots” think is missing?  Can’t be just money because there are some “have-nots” who have just as much money as the “haves”.

It’s time we (I) did something to lift this type thinking off of those who think this way.

That Thing That Comes Easy For You
“In his grace, God has given us [you, me] different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to…[insert that thing that comes easy]”
http://bible.com/116/rom.12.6.nlt

It’s what places an extraordinary person in the “haves” category.  It’s also the thing that places an ordinary person in the “have-nots” category.  How’s that?
It’s “that thing that comes easy for you.”  When you hide, cover up, and never take advantage of the thing that comes easy for you, that’s what keeps you in the “have-nots” category.  If you have an ability to do something well, that certain thing that comes easy for you, and you don’t do it, then you’ve just made sure you’ll remain in the “have-nots” category.  What you’re saying is, you’d rather do something that doesn’t come easy. You’ve decide to make your life harder than what it should be. That’s the difference between the “haves” and “have-nots”.

The Light Bulb That Hasn’t Gone Off
Are you still trying to figure out what you’re going to do with your life?  What path you’re going to take?

“Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.”
http://bible.com/116/psa.139.14.nlt

“Well” isn’t something you know normally.  I’ve done something “well”. You’ve done something “well”.  This means you put some work into it or are simply good at it, the thing you’ve done well.

Ordinary people don’t know what a marvelous piece of work they really are.  The average person doesn’t think to themselves I am a wonderful piece of work. In fact, it’s just the opposite.  Normal people focus on how they don’t measure up. Instead of thinking of oneself as a marvelous work, “normal” will have you think, you’re a work in progress, needing some work.  Basically, an incomplete product.

When will the light bulb shine brightly for you?  When will you realize that you were made to have extraordinary life?  You’re made to bring wonder and excitement to others.

There is a gifting waiting to be discovered in you.  It’s not like looking for hidden treasure that may or may not be there.  The treasure is, with no doubt, there. This discovery is a sure thing; there is treasure waiting and only one person (you) can discover it and retrieve it.  It’s there for you so that you no longer “have-not” and move over into the category of the “haves”.
